Mark Quiban

Mark began sketching in ink as a way to capture his travels in a journal.

He's since worked as a professional illustrator and animator with Nelvana in Toronto to produce TV shows.

Urban Sketching Academy

Phil Carr-Harris

Phil is a self-taught urban sketcher with a background in architecture and a passion for capturing the energy of everyday scenes.

His work is loose, expressive, and focused on feeling, not perfection. Whether he’s sketching on a street corner in Toronto or flipping through old sketchbooks, Phil helps others see the world differently.

Watercolor People Painting

Alice Barcelos

Alice is a Waterloo-based watercolor artist with a bachelor of fine arts focused on acrylics and watercolors.

Her work on color theory has been published and she continues to teach watercolor locally.
